Something to Say
by Vincent Grafhorst
Hi All, this will be my last image post in my capacity as NPN Wildlife Gallery Moderator. I have been acting in this role for many years with a lot of pleasure and have learned a great deal in the process. I would like to thank NPN kindly for the opportunity offered to be part of the NPN team.
With less time available for NPN nowadays and less motivation than the level it used to be at, I feel it is time to hand over the moderator role to someone else. It turned out, however, that this someone else is an ex-colleague of mine! Please welcome back Brad Hill to the Wildlife Gallery moderating team.
Obviously I will continue to post images and comments here, so I’ll see you around.
Thank you all.
Cheers,
Vincent

So...is this what they call a "selfie"?
An appropriate shot for your announcement - now you've put pressure on me to come up with a matching shot! I really enjoyed working with you over the years and thanks for the insightful critiques on the images I posted over my last year while "on sabbatical" from my moderating duties! Can't wait to start critiquing YOUR images in the future!
Cheers...and hope to be regularly seeing you and your images here...
Brad
Well I think you already know that I am sad to see you retiring from the role of Wildlife Moderator. I always admired and valued your critiquing skills and over all good judgement when it came to making difficult decisions. Thank you for your years of service and dedication at NPN; man I just feel like we should be handing you a gold watch or something. Thankfully we will still be seeing you around the proverbial water cooler.
With much admiration and gratitude Vincent, take care.
Gary
So nice to have you back on the team. Your critiquing skills and general knowledge of photography, biology, wildlife conservation, photo marketing, (should I go on?) makes you an invaluable presence here. We don't know how good we've got it!
Welcome back.
Gary
Secondly, a very cool image of the lion! I love the detail in the view seldom seen.
Thanks again Vincent!!
A excellent shot and interesting point of view. The larger image has some wonderful detail (like those big teeth!).
I have always enjoyed your images and thoughtful comments. Best of luck in future endeavors.
Regards,
Jim

An unusual shot, a lazy Lion actually doing something, including opening his eyes
