American Kestrel

From the Bosque...a female Kestrel. I saw an enormous number of this species there, and will start with this one, small in frame and in late afternoon light.

50D, 500mm w/1.4, ISO 200, F5.6, 1/640 LARGER version available.

A lovely composition, Sharon. I like the tones in the bg and the shape of the bush. The Kestrel makes a great accent.
