Turkey Rut?

I came across a very large group of turkeys this morning. Probably close to 50 birds. I think it was at least 2 bands of toms and one of hens. Well, the toms just were full of it, strutting around and doing their stuff. No gobbles though. Maybe it was "display" school. The hen in the middle is facing the other way and seems like she could care less. I thought this line of 9 older toms made a nice image when I cropped it to a pano as there was a lot of wasted space on the top and bottom. I did a contrast increase, and small adjustments to the light via highlights, shadows, etc. The crop leaves the birds at dead center. Curious as to whether that works for you. To me it looked the best but I'd like to know your thoughts. Comments and critiques very welcome.

The crop works well for me, Peter. The wall of trees in the back with the room in front of the birds makes it look like a posse closing in on you. A very good flock image.

Peter, I think the pano crop works well. That's an impressive group of birds. I do think it could still use a bit more contrast. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice grouping of turkeys in this image. I agree about a little more contrast, and think the crop works well. Sharon
