The Sable is for me the epitome of majesty.
This nice Male was kind enough to run past us at a good distance and light.
Taken in Hwange National Pek, Zimbabwe.

Sable antelope are gorgeous…and rare…so all the better that you've got him well captured, all 4 'feet' in the air - well done!

Ken,
I too think the Sable is the epitome of majesty. I have a mounted Sable on the wall in my study. Didn't shoot it, bought it at an auction. Back to the image. Great action and you froze it with all four feet off the ground. The exposure looks spot on. My only small nit is the somewhat busy background. The termite mounds, especially, detract a bit.

WOW Ken, what a beautiful Sable in flight! Your focus is and timing is spot-on!!! I have exactly zero images of this amazing antelope, hopefully someday.

Perfectly timed, Ken, with all four feet off the ground! Nice job in keeping great focus, too. I like the bit of dirt extending back from his feet. The termite mounds help provide sense of place, in my opinion.
