Very nice flight shot -- necklace is sharp and the oranges look good against the blue background

Nice look at this Harrier Charles, great head turn and attractive warm colors.
Very good POV and comp as well!

Wow excellent look at this bird with a really nice view of the eye and extended wing. I know how difficult these are to capture. Wish you luck with your Snowy hunting!

Great light as mentioned on this. -and the sideways look nearly at the camera. Snowies are all the rage on most forums at the moment. Great stuff.

Very nice. Looks like you had good reflected light on the underside.

A very nice, crisp take on this female Northern Harrier (female Hen Harrier) with straight forward uncluttered background. A pity that the region around the talons is so vague. I'm not saying the talons should be deployed - they usually aren't in 'glide mode' but they should at least be visible. As a point of technical interest, did you take a reversed selection of the bird and paint in the background?

David- thanks for weighing in and commenting on this image, but I'm somewhat puzzled by your observation concerning the talons:
"A pity that the region around the talons is so vague. I'm not saying the talons should be deployed - they usually aren't in 'glide mode' but they should at least be visible".
The bird's anatomy was in no way altered from what was captured in the sensor when I squeezed the shutter release. To your question about the background I'm not certain what you mean by "painted". I made a selection of the subject- inversed the selection, and adjusted the White Balance of the background with a Levels adjustment. If you are unfamiliar with that process I would be most happy to explain the technique via a PM.
Best,
