This Old House

I keep going back to this old house when the light is hitting it in the winter and at different times so the light at sunrise is coming from a different angle. Here the house and the butte behind is are lit by the first light in the morning. I am hopping to get a good snow this winter that will let me shot it at sunrise in the snow. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Richard, I like the warm glow of the early light on this scene. Your larger version looks especially nice! Hope you get to shoot it in the snow too!

Wonderful lighting in this Richard. I can't help but imagine what it must of been like to live there, fantastic location.

Gary.

I remember seeing this place in previous posts. It certainly is an interesting old building and your series of photos in quite interesting. The early light here is fantastic. You must have gotten it just as it cleared the horizon. That's a pretty intense reddish hue. Only suggestion would be to take the photos from the same spot and at the same focal length. I think this is a closer look than your previous ones.

Incredible color and a nice contrast between the old worn out building and the massive immovable mountain

That morning light and your telephoto perspective on the butte combine to make this a memorable scene, like something from the past.

Great light and warm color in this one. I liked the compressed tele-comp, too. Beauty! :toast:
