Tiger on the move

This is one of the big male tiger in Tadoba. He happened to swim the lake, on reaching the shore, he rushed to one of his siblings, this side of the lake. These oof grasses bothered me so much that I never cared to process this file, but when I did it now, think it is not so dissapointing.
Canon 7D; 500mm; ISO 400; 1/320 sec. at F 4.5.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!

Absolutely gorgeous. The lighting is right on; the water drops really add to the image especially those from the tip of the tail.

Stripes on the tiger, horizontal stripes in the water...vertical stripes of grasses: I think it works.

Jagdeep,
Great light and pose on this, I might considering seeing if you can reduce the lightness in the OOF grass, to reduce the slightly distracting effect?

Hi Jagdeep,

I like the out-stretched front paw, the stretch in the cat, and the water droplets trailing behind. I also like how nicely the tiger stands out from the dark water behind it. The out-of-focus grasses? One voice inside me says they are adding a "viewer in hiding" element (i.e., that the viewer is sneaking a peak of this from behind the grasses), but a louder voice says they are distracting me (and don't really work for me from a creative perspective). Some may feel that overall they add to the shot, but I don't feel that way (sorry!).

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...
