On working through images from this summer, I came upon this rose photo where I composed a more focused rose in front of several OOF roses in the background. In editing, I experimented with various filters in Nik Color Efex Pro and liked the look of this old film filter. It reminds me of something from my grandmothers' postcard collection that we grandchildren would enjoy looking through.

Canon 60D. 180mm macro lens. F/3.5 for 1/320 sec. ISO 250. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.
