I have been trying to ID this bird and need some help. I think it may be a finch of some type, but the faint yellow around the eye is confusing me.

Savannah Sparrow, it looks like a nice shot but would have to be posted larger to critique well.

Looks to me it might be a Savannah Sparrow, but hard to tell with not having a larger version of the shot and any information on where it was taken.
