Foggy ocean

You can see the north tip of the Golden Gate Bridge peeking up above the fog. Taken from the Berkeley hills across the Bay. The foreground picked up a little red highlight from the setting sun.

Canon 5d,M3, ISO100, 250mm, f/7.1, 1/50 sec.

WOW Kathy! The mix of warm and cool color sets this apart. Great layers and wonderful abstract in it own right.

Great shot, Kathy. Just love all of the layers in this, the colors, the light, and that tower sticking up above the fog. Well composed image and your exposure was really good. Sort of reminds me of all the different belts on Jupiter. Well done.

So many cool cloud formations, this would have worked very well without the bridge as well, but the bridge gives it a bit of a fantasy feeling. Especially in the large version. Great photo!

I love how this really highlights the sense of scale and how the natural elements dwarf and overwhelm the bridge. All the varying colors and patterns in the clouds add to the interest as well. Great image Kathy!

Almost an otherworldly feel to this photo. My wife and I were there on Christmas. It was totally clear. I like the many textures and colors here!

Love the light, the pillows of fog, and the suspension posts poking through. Great mood to it: population, transportation, all buried under a cloud.

I love this a lot. Love the warm colors contrasts the cold colors. Love the fog. I like this as is. Have your tried another version with a longer shutter speed so the fog looks more like waves...this could haveen great as well!.
