Yes, very nice color and detail. The hint of pinks in the background help too. You might clone away that little thing floating in the lower right.

Beautiful colors on these birds - background is nice habitat. Only thing that's a touch distracting to me is the lower-lefthand corner where the vegetation comes toward the camera and leaves the frame of focus

The square crop works nicely here, and I like the little seed head that has fallen from the upper bird. Please don't clone it...it's what it's looking after! Sharon

Marvelous looking birds and fabulous poses. Background is a little awkward but does not realy distract from subjects :toast: :toast:

I like this a lot as posted. We had these birds in our backyard every winter we lived in NJ - as many as 600 at a time in the worst storm we had there! They are hard to see in AZ (only once for us in 20 years now) and we miss them.

I like this composition and that you managed two birds in focus at once. I think the out of focus branches in the background add to the image.

Interesting color/feather pattern as I have never seen these Grosbeak. Nice job getting both in focus, way to go.

Nice sharpness on both birds Bill. Love the comp and color. The BG out of focus branches don't bother me at all....except the one poking in from the left side of the frame. Only because it draws my eye. I think cloning it would take this even another notch higher. Nice work!
