I didn't think Bloody Basin (the road taken to get to this spot) did a very good job describing this serene view from north of Phoenix. It would have been nice to have found a little better and more interesting foreground but it was a last minute decision to pull off the interstate and find a comp before I lost the light.

7 second exposure @ f/16, Grad ND, tripod. SEE LARGE VERSION.

Simply and quietly beautiful, Bob. The large version is a must to pick out the detail.

Good feeling from viewing this, of serenity and beauty. Composition and color make a very nice presentation. Well done Bob. Chet

Hey Bob -- the colors and wide view sweeping to center works very well. Nice scale and grandeur

The large view is great, Bob. I think you did a great job in finding a very appropriate foreground . It directs my eye right where it should. I love the blues in both foreground, sky, and back ground.
