We had an opportunity to visit The Palouse for a second time. On this trip we chose to go in the winter. I think I found the light even more beautiful than in May-June, when we last visited. The abstract patterns of undulating, snow-covered fields caught my eye. Large version included. C&C appreciated.

I like the snow covered fields, with all of the swirls. The light at the top, especially in the center, seems a little harsh.

Thank you all for your comments and feedback. Rob, I agree. The brights in the center top seem a bit brighter than in the original file on my monitor.

Matthew: I lived in Spokane in my prephotography life and was always impressed with the Palouse. Would love to be back there now and this image stirs me. Congrats on the WP. >=))>
