Very bold and colourful composition, Addison ! My only suggestion might be to have angled the view to cut out the traces of other flowers in the background - but this is nice as is. Look forward to seeing more from you.

Welcome to flora! You picked a difficult subject to shoot but you did very well. The background behind the petals seems a bit distracting for some reason, and I'd like a little more room on the left side. I think including the full petals on that side would make the composition seem more complete. Dialing back on the highlights just a tiny bit and increasing saturation and/or contrast a bit would also make the colors pop more. Looking forward to seeing more of your images.
