Hunting the Marsh

Here's yet another from Florida! I'll be in Florida tomorrow, and will soon be photographing these guys once more!

My dad and I were driving along the road when we spotted several Egrets hunting a marshy area. I focused on the closer one. He slowly marched through, looking for something to eat. I took this image while he was stalking something. Unfortunately, I never saw him get anything, but I'm hoping that after we left he managed to get a meal.

Thanks for lookin'! :wavey:

Jenaya,
You have a flair for the environmental shots and I just love this. At first glance I thought that there was a lot of noise in the thumbnail but upon closer examination it's just lots of frozen particles. You got some stellar light on that egret. Can't tell if there is a reflection or if it's a spot of snow in front of the bird. In any case, lovely shot and well exposed.

Very nice image Jenaya. I like images that show more of the environment rather than filling the frame with the subject. Well done!
