Looks like a busy stream. Was this near some logging? The log entering the rapids looks to be cut.

Very nice SS for the water and excellent details throughout Danny. I agree with Chris about the contrast but very nicely processed as is. Great job.

The BW conversion looks good. My biggest issue with this image, Danny, is that there really isn't a focal point, or an anchor for the eye to latch on to, so that the image really doesn't "flow" visually.
