Hi all.

Here is the first photo that I have to post of the crocuses that we have coming up in our yard. They are at least 2 weeks early this year.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Wonderful shot, Nathan.
I like the composition and the DOF a lot.

Nice. I'm looking forward to more from you! I wish we had crocuses here in the deep South, but you can keep the snow.

Lovely, soft rendering, Nathan - nice focus on the single petal edge to the R and a beautifully balanced composition.

Nathan: Ditto Phil on crocus envy and snow unenvy. I'm undecided about the POF. My conventional mind would prefer one of the centers to be sharp but perhaps unconventional is good. Beautiful color palette regardless. >=))>

Very interesting choice of POF, Nathan! Beautiful soft feeling overall. Spring is early here as well, I don't mind! :wavey:

Let's see, I found two crocuses in bloom yesterday and two years ago I took my first crocus picture on Jan 28th! Ahh, weather...just wait an hour. The gentle colors and overall softness do a fine job of conveying a "feeling" of spring

Lovely composition, Nathan. I really like the array of blooms and the very shallow dof, though I for my taste, I think just a smidgeon more dof would be nice.
