Aah I've been here John had to with my surname. It evokes happy memories of rolling green bushy fields and mist swirling around quite often with gangs of tea pickers holding shears encased in a plastic cage for gathering cut leaves thereafter depositing them in baskets carried on their backs. I should also add I know this very spot (house included). not that it particularly matters but why so high an ISO and shutter speed?

Ian, I experimented with the f stop to compensate for the bright sunlight and seemed to get a good effect with f/18. I then tweaked the iso for the mid-tones and shutter speed to get the desired effect. The pixel noise is visible in the larger image, however the compromise worth the higher iso.

The softness is very painter like, very attractive.

John, This has such a nice dreamy mood and kind of mysterious at the same time. Pretty cool.

Wonderful ethereal mood. Really enjoy how the eye is drawn back, through the lush green valley . Nicely done.
