There are so many simple ways to put your photographic talent to use for the greater good. So I'm throwing this out there in case any of you haven't considered it, and also to get your feedback.
I have found that many animal rescue organizations, of both domestic and farm animals, need good shots of their rescues who are waiting for their forever homes... or forever barns, as the case may be. For wildlife photographers, shooting a penned llama or leashed dog is like shooting fish in a bucket; so easily and quickly done. I've been told by many rescue organizations that a really good/fun/high-quality shot of an animal leads to a much faster adoption. (Have you seen some of the photos on Petfinder? You'll see why rescue organizations need our help!)
I would also love to know: what other ways have you found to offer your services for a good cause?

Sounds like a great cause you're pushing, keep up the good work!
I've donated prints to rescue groups when they've had fundraisers, so I've tried to help in my own small way
