Little Wattlebird

One from last weekend. This is the smaller of the two wattlebird species here in south-east Australia (both related to the honeyeaters).
Thanks for looking, Greg.

It's as if you hand placed the flowers. Great image. Congrats.

Greg,
Love the name of this bird. Superb detail, color, backdrop and framing. That perch is really nice. Excellent head position. I would love to have this image. :toast: :toast:

Beautiful photo Greg. The colourful flowers contrast perfectly with the rather drab wattlebird.
The composition is fantastic and the detail is terrific. :toast: :toast:

Beautifully executed, Greg. I can also see some excellent macro/flora potential with the perch. Nice work!

I keep coming back to admire this image. It's just such a treat for the eyes. I would love to see this as the next NPN front page image. Where do I cast my vote for that?

This is a home run. Composition, and especially the Oriental feel provided by the perch and surrounding environment. Wish it were mine!
