Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument - 1/15 second @f/16, Tripod, Grad ND.
It is a very dry season down on the border, some wildflowers but pretty scarce. The mountains you see on the horizon are in Mexico.

Very nice scene Bob with some nice depth to it and nice light in the fore ground. Maybe a little dark in the middle area but very nice as is. Very nice.

Great image and light, the dark mogul in the middle gives this take almost a 3D look, so it's fine with me. I love the Senora desert and especially the OP Monument. It is so secluded and days could go by without seeing anybody, if it wasn't for the border patrol.

Very nice light and color in this one, Bob. I like almost everything about the comp except for the middle-ground butte. It tends to draw my eye. It might be worth brightening the butte - the only down side would be that the cactus in front of the butte would tend to blend in. I'll be interested to see what others have to say as I haven't ready any other comments yet.

Love the warm light and back lit cacti in the foreground Bob. They balance nicely with the sky. The dark butte doesn't really bother me.

I like the colors, the FG cactus and the sky a lot.
I think it could be a tad sharper.

You caught some lovely light. I like the emphasis on the foreground Cholla and the sky along the distant horizon.

Very nice, Bob. I like the soft muted colors, and I particularly like the warm highlights in the foreground cacti. I'd be tempted to try to get down closer to those to make them a more prominent element, but I suspect you went with the comp that worked best for the scene.
