Not a lot of dust in this one, but I've never heard an equivalent for water.

1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 1.4TC, hand held, f5.6, 1/5000, iso 500, Av mode with -1.3 stop compensation. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Slight crop at the ends for straightening and cropped from top and bottom for the pano. Final size, 7.7 MP out of 16. Taken 4:06 pm on February 20th at Lower Klamath NWR.

Your comments and criticisms are most appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Hi Dennis, I really like the action in this, the flying water and the scene really tells a story. The techs look fine to me, except I do think both heads look a tiny bit soft to my eye. I really think it only has to do with being at F.5,6 as the outer wing of the left bird seems to be the main focal point and is sharper than the heads. Still very acceptable, so I really don't mean to nit pick...but I do think it would have improved the image.

Like the action esp the splashing water from the fleeing duck -- pano is a great crop for this action

Hello Dennis

The water action with those black feet covering the other swan with muddy water is captivating! Well done.
Seems sharp and detailed with excellent interaction.

Very nice timing to capture the take off run including the back splashes. I like the choice of a pano for this one.
