Your image and Sandy's happen to be side-by-side on the "All photos" page. Gives a good example how different lenses and different lighting change this image. Both are excellent!

Murphy's tree it is. Very nice capture and it really emphasis a bit of the harsh winters in this area of the park.

Very nice, Doug. Makes me shiver a little and really conveys the stark isolation of this part of the park. Beautiful.

Beautiful. Now where have I seen that tree before? If I hit back on my browser it will come to me. Wonderful isolation of the tree and simple, clean composition.

Very nice. Its interesting to compare the subtle differences between this and Sandy's image. I didn't realize it was such an icon.

I'm having a sense of deja vu! I didn't realize this was an iconic and well photographed location, so when I saw your image, so similar to Sandy's, I was quite surprised. However, it is interesting to see two different but similar takes on this scene. Great comp, lighting, and handling of the exposure. That stunningly simple scenery sure makes for some great artistic images!
