Weigh in

Miller Park Zoo had 3 female NA river otters born recently. I was allowed to photograph the young during one of their weigh ins. The pups eyes were still closed. The den the cubs were in was dark which made using a flash necessary. I will be back when their eyes have opened.

Lucky you, John. Our own zoo just had some more small-clawed otter pups. They sure are adorable.

One of those photos that will be embarrassing to him when he grows up. Cute little bugger. Nice photos given the conditions described. So peaceful. Time to take a snooze.

Very nice image of this cute little cub, John! I like the way her chin is resting on the top of the box.
