This is an image I took a couple of years ago but was never completely satisfied with the processing until I reimagined it a few months ago and decided to give it a high key, high contrast, pencil sketch look. It's a bit of an experiment for me so I would appreciate any feedback on the processing. Thanks for looking.

I really like the processing. It works well with this image and the image works well. To my eye, it could use a bit of a CCW rotation?

Thanks for the feedback Harley, you are right about the rotation. Here's a corrected version.

I think this is a very artistic presentation, Carey. I might increase the blacks a tad more and maybe remove the old corral(?) but real nice as presented.

Very nice image with interesting components. I agree it needs some rotation.

This looks really good. The cropping is perfect for my taste. The content is well suited to the processing that you did - nice job!

The chosen processing has worked to bring the image to the next level. Well worth the time and effort.

Very eye-catching image with your use of high-key processing, Carey. It really does look like a pencil drawing! I like how the sky and land run together with only the trees and grasses giving definition to the terrain, which is how a pencil sketch artist would create the scene on a white canvas. Nice comp and elements. . .but IMO the border is too heavy for such a delicate looking image. I would suggest just a narrow black frame--you could ditch the outer wider black frame and keep the narrow frame you already have. Fine image and great processing.

Thank your comments and suggestion Carolyn. Here's a repost with the border significantly reduced. I agree, it looks better.
