Evening Flora Folks! For my once in a blue moon flora shot I offer this water lily. Shot this last week at St. Mark's Wildlife Refuge south of Tallahassee, FL. It was a beautiful trip, lots of gators, lots of flowers, and lots of fun.

D2x, 1/125 @ f/4, 200mm, 100 ISO, Singh Ray Circ. Polarizer, tripod

Please view LARGER version for better detail.

Critiques and comments always welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Pristine water lily. I like the tannic stain in the water and the disappearing roots of the water lily. Good diagonal crop, with the LL and UR intercepts appropriately occupied.

Terrific view of the white flower and excellent comp. that really lets the flower shine but tells the whole story. Simply great!

Very nice Bill. Well composed and exposed. I think the polarizer really helped. I see a small white dot at the lower right bottom of the lily. You might want to clone that out. But, excellent as is. Well done!
