Cape May Lighthouse

We recently spent a weekend at Cape May, NJ. While there, we visited the lighthouse but then also walked around Cape May Point to get a different view of the lighthouse from the beach.

Canon 60D. 76mm at F/14 for 1/250 sec. ISO 160. Handheld, natural mid-day lighting. Soft focus and vignette filters (Nik software) applied in processing. Do the filters work for this? I sort of liked the vintage feel of this processing. . .but would like other opinions.

Carolyn,
You have such a great eye for the natural beauty of the outdoors, this was very well seen and captured. There is so much interest in this composition and you framed it perfectly to balance all the components and colors.
Well done . . . :toast:

I think you did a great job both photographing and processing this photo. I like the soft effect, and the vignette isn't overwhelming and feels like it belongs.

I really like the composition of the image. It is a very artistic image and looks looks like a post card. Great image.
