We took a sight-seeing boat out of Naples, FL in early March into the Gulf of Mexico. The highlight was having a pair of bottlenose dolphins play in the boat's wake on our way out. They were so close we were actually splashed.
Nex-6, Sony 24-75 zoom at 33mm, HH, ISO 100, f/9.0, 1/400, matrix metering, AWB, continuous drive; adjusted contrast and sharpness in PSE. Comments and suggestions always welcome and thanks for viewing.

Neat capture Jim. The Dolphin always seems to be smiling doesn't it
I like the leaping action 'form', and the water spray denotes movement well :toast:

Love these animals! This was my daughter's favorite animal and she had quite an extensive collection of dolphin knicknacks. It's always a special experience when you can have a close encounter with these intelligent creatures. Good capture of this dolphin at play with your boat.

Great catch on the dolphin and all the water action. I wish there was more space at the top, but know how hard that is under the circumstances. You may be able to use content aware fill in PS to add some canvas up top for just a bit more space although in my experience it's hard to add more than a 200 pixels and keep it looking good.
