Not much of a story to go with this image. Shooting in winter at a local pond. This was taken late afternoon while attempting to shoot some hooded mergansers in flight. Light was pretty good and I liked the water colors and the reflection. At this particular pond you can't get low perspective because of the steep bank and very muddy conditions all the time.
Thanks for stopping by for a look.

Wonderful color scheme with the complimentary background. Amazing the feather patterns in the neck. Nice job in getting this difficult contrast shot as the larger image looks great.

The LP looks very nice David, one of the best Mandarin images I've seen.
No nits from me, good image quality in spite of the 66% crop.
Well done!:toast: :toast:

Good job all the way around. The angle looks fine to me. I think it is helping with the reflection. The water and reflected surroundings add that little extra. :toast:

A beautiful duck, captured exceptionally well. Nice pose, great colours, and near-perfect reflection. The water colour is perfect for this image.
Nice work!
