Aurora

Another aurora shot! This time only green, but a lot more intense than my previous post. It's a bit of a shame that the rock is exactly in the middle of the aurora's reflection, but not much to do about that now!

It was almost full moon, so the landscape is illuminated by the moon, not the aurora.

ISO 1600, f/4, 13 s, 14 mm.

C&C welcome, larger version included.

Nice exposure. The rock breaking the reflection doesn't bother me.

A very nicely done aurora image, Roel. I do like the reflection in the water. My only suggestion would be to clone out that jet contrail.

The greens are much brighter here but I like the previous post better because of the pinks. Both are fine images. It's also neat that you can see star reflections in the water. The rock doesn't bother me.

Lovely color in there, and that rock doesn't bug me much.
