Short Train

I've been out one or two nights every week since last fall chasing trains. The ice has now melted and that allows me to get reflection shots again. These are fun! Not easy to get around here as the water tends to either be frozen or the wind is blowing. I managed to catch this solitary engine moving across the trestle at Huron, SD near midnight. This might be the shortest "train" I've ever caught.

Short on train, but not on stunning image quality, Kent. Your treatment with lighting at night in these remote spots is amazing. Simply put, your dedication to work out the logistics to capture these really unique night shots along the railways is just super. Excellent execution & take IMVHO.

This is real nice, Kent! It always amazes me how big those engines are. This is wonderfully lit, and nicely composed.
