Strange?

One of the two brothers behaving rather oddly, He had clearly found something "nice" to smell, and spent some time sniffing, licking, digging and as here rolling.
Unfortunate position for grass!

Great capture. I love the fact that he's still looking at you. Not your usual lion shot.

Well, I don't know, the grass is not in front of any of its head so I'd say no problem! I love how he looks right at you in his unusual pose. Nice! :toast:

Hello Ken

That is one outgoing dude! He certainly appears to have a neet personality!

Very cute and cuddly, if you can say that about an adult lion! Couldn't you have just moved those offending grasses? :jump:

Thanks everybody for your comments, much appreciated.

Ajit,
the grass was in the middle of the road no off-roading allowed

Great, unusual pose. I don't find the foliage to be a very significant distraction, although in a perfect world the nearest in the lower left would be slightly more in focus, perhaps. I especially like the quality of light here, feeling warmish but filtered. Wonderful eye contact, too.

I've seen them do this with rhino and elephant dung.
Nice pose and light...grass not a biggy for me.
