Caught the last rays of sun at Moro Rock in Sequoia Natl Park - as did the crown of this old tree!

beautiful light on the tree, I would consider a slight crop from the left to move the tree a bit off-center

Very nice light on the tree and I like the dark back round Kartik. I agree about a slight crop so it's not so centred. Very nice.

Beautifully mysterious. Seems like we could use a bit more dark dark detail just for a hint of what's behind.

Wonderful light and I like the mysterious mood very much. I agree with the slight crop suggestion.

WOW! This is GORGEOUS! Well done Kartik.
EDIT - After reading the cropping comments I'll add my opinion. If anything I would crop the RIGHT side ever so gently as to center it even more. I think the tree being centered is very effective.

Very cool, Kartik. Love that spot of light and the processing looks spot on to me. Nice.

Great eye to see this. Nice composition to show off the juxtaposition of light and shadow.
EDIT: After reading others' comments I felt like the centered composition works here as the shadows create a sort of reverse halo around the tree.

Nice work, I think moving the lighted tree left with a bit more BG light would look good.

Superb Kartik. I'd love to see it on a black background so the subtle details could show from the shadows. I too would crop to the edge of the background tree on the left.
