Yosemite moonset

I was in Yosemite Valley in the early morning to take photos of the light, across from El Capitan in the meadow. I looked up and liked the combination of the hard, gargantuan granite and the moon.

Thanks in advance for any comments or critiques.

Canon 5d,M3, ISO100, 510mm(100-400 with 1.4 telextender), tripod, f/16, 1/25.

I like this a lot, Kathy. The spot of light on the cliff face and that plant on the edge looks like some fantasy dragon ascending the cliff face. The addition of the moon is just icing.

Well seen, Kathy. Nice detail in both the moon and rock face. I don't know the answer to this, but I'm wondering if f/16 was necessary at that focal length. Would a wider aperture have given sufficient dof while allowing for even better sharpness? Anyway, great image!
