I decided o try a little experiment this one, not to sure if it works?
As can be seen from settings light was quite short.
This young Elephant was running to catch up with Mum in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

I like this a lot Ken! The elephant's head and eye are pretty sharp, where you want it to be and the rest give a great sense of morion without going to an extreme blur. Maybe the only suggestion would have been a little more room on the bottom and not o much on top, but given you were panning at the time and the elephants feet are not visible it's not a big deal. Really well done in my opinion. :toast:

I'm impressed. Wouldn't have thought 1/100th would work well for a motion blur, but you nailed the pan on this one. Nice job, Ken.

Ken ..this is very emotional ..love this ...it exhibits the energy in the little calf..and the need to catch up ..or being chased by a lion ..beautifully crafted ..well done

Works really well for me. Fine panning effort showing subtle blur and at the same time keeping the head sharp enough.
The blur on the BG provides a wash of yellows and greens which I really liked.
