From this morning in the rain, we're getting soaked here in Central Texas. Much needed, we've been in severe drought stage for some time now.
F/10, 1/320th, ISO 640, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 + 1.4x ext, no flash @ 10:44am. Almost FF, with some off the right side & bottom.
Posted here because my woodpecker seed block's in the general vicinity of this fence post..

Posted here because in the Wildlife Gallery "Photos of captive wildlife taken at commercial game farms or photos taken using bait of any kind are prohibited."
I like this because in all the years I've ever photographed the Texas Fox Squirrel, this is one of the few where the pose with its tightly curled tail, and 'grip' on the post struck me as special enough to share.
Thanx for looking Pop Photo :wavey:

Howard,
Don't they make great subjects. We had one terrorizing our bird feeder until I found an unsual solution to his climbing the shepherd's hook to hang upside down. Wonderful pose, and all the technicals are right on. :toast:
