Thanks Morkel for posting both the story and photos! I feel the same reverence when I witness the struggle that takes place every day in nature. Your story is both informative and thought provoking. Excellent photos!

So, finally the agony of the wait is over! I like the lion on the right with his claws unsheathed and the open mouth with teeth showing. The log in the llc is unfortunate, though. The giraffe had led a good life and this was inevitable. Great series of story-telling images, Morkel.

Great image and experience Morkel, I could see cropping a sliver more from the top here. The males claws and open mouth make this one.
