Another first Wood Warbler at the pool on digital
Its been been a bit dodgy this year with one thing or another but things seem to be picking up
We have swallows back in a shed in the garden after 20 years. I think I will be neglecting the Little Owls for them !! We have a redstart on eggs in a box in the garden and the pool is picking up. This is my first ever digital wood warbler at the pool hide.. It turned up on the hazel branch right in front of the hide and posed for two minutes then dropped down to bathe. One I’ve been after for years. Got some very nice blackcaps -male and female too. Certainly about the sharpest Wood warbler I've ever taken

Nicely framed and good techs. And sharp, as you note. It seems a little dark on my monitor; the bright whites on the belly are more gray-blue. Should be easy to brighten up.

Well done, John. I like the soft lighting and the lush setting. Spring is finally here. :toast:
