I took this image from my patio. I plant Black-eyed Susan vine at the base of my wrought iron Tiki torches and it wraps all the way to the top by the end of summer. In the background are Coreopsis plants which are not yet blooming and Spanish Bluebells. Added several filters in processing using Nik software.

Canon 60D. 90mm macro lens. F/4 for 1/500 sec. ISO 125. Tripod mounted.

I like the feel to this photo Carolyn. The hard (though curvy) iron along with the vines and flowers in the BG works well. I think for me, I would like a bit more definition left in those blue flowers in the BG.

I do agree with Nathan on the Spanish Bluebells, but really good as is. A square crop might lessen the pull of the Bluebells.

Carolyn - Very artistic frame. My immediate reaction was to see this as a vertical. But great appeal nevertheless.

Excellent image Carolyn. Very dreamy and soft feel and wonderful colors. I like the background a lot. The blue complements the yellows very well and the oof green provides balance on top. The yellows look a bit saturated on my screen, but it could be just me. Great work!
