One more Hummer

One last Rufous Hummingbird from a very productive evening a few days ago. This one was working a Delphinium in the same bed as the Columbine. Unlike the Columbine, which is a native, the Delphinium is a rather flamboyant cultivar.

1Div, 500mm f4 ISL + 2.0TC, Jobu Gimbal on RRS legs, f8, 1/1600, iso 800, -2/3 stop compensation, aperture priority. Processed in LR5 and CS6. This one was cropped to 9.7MP. Taken June 5th at 7:28 pm.

Comments and criticisms appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Another sweet shot Dennis, you're on a roll :jump:
Great detail, color, and I like the intimate comp.
The Delphinium really makes it nice :toast:

Great shot, love the flower color coupled with the iridescence of his back feathers. :toast:

Another nice Hummingbird shot. I tend to prefer the previous shot as that photo shows the bill and the body appears sharper. Still, lovely background and flowers.
