The clouds in this seemed to give it a volcanic, prehistoric look so I tried to process it to add that mood. I don't do much B&W so would appreciate any input on the processing. Thanks for looking.

Bill, I find this to be a very powerful and attractive image all in one. Great processing. Superb detail in the dark rocks. I don't see a thing that needs or should be changed.

I like the graphic feel to this Bill, your processing goals were met I think. I'm just getting into BW myself so can't be too technical but I do like it very much. :toast:

Bill, I love how the sky mirrors the rocky foreground and everything comes to a point after a very nice journey. I don't think I could suggest a thing. Very, very nice B/W. :toast:

I like this a lot Bill. Love all the 'V' shapes and the primeval energy conveyed.

Wonderful and very dramatic looking seascape here, Bill. Still learning small amounts of b&w processing myself, so, I cannot say anything more then I really like the look here overall.....

I certainly like the composition you have framed. The rugged and lighter V foreground directs the flow to the pyramid-shaped form. Indeed, those clouds are pulsing. My only thought would be a larger rock size w/respect to its surroundings to give it more impact and dominance. Nice tones throughout! Well done.

Real nice, Bill! Processing looks spot-on, to me. Very powerful and dynamic image.

Well done,

This is great, Bill, very dramatic. I love how both the sky and the ground come to the same point and how the texture in the clouds mimics the texture in the ground. I'm guessing that you did some burning/dodging to emphasize the ridge and that works very well.

Great image Bill, I really love the foreground and how you burned the sides (or dodged the centre) to create some more depth. The The processing for the ocean looks spot on as well. The only thing I would change is the sky. The contrast in the clouds looks great and really brings out the details but I would consider increasing the dynamic brightness there somewhat to create better contrast between the foreground and background and give the image some added depth. :toast:

Bill, This is excellent! Really nice work on the capture and I love the b&w processing with this. The textures and detail are just wonderful. Don't know how you would get this any better! :toast:

Bill, this is superb. Emphasizing the central line of rock as you have makes this a tremendously dynamic image. An outstanding b/w image in my opinion. Wouldn't change a thing.

Wonderful use of some strong elements. I'm at a loss though. This doesn't quite feel finished to me, but can't say why. My only thought is to maybe try and dodge some of the rock highlights lighter, but that's only a guess.
