Rose Gum Drops

I applied a Topaz filter to these drops to give them some interest. Although, they were wonderfully formed on this rose...they did not reflect anything but the pink color underneath. So, in that sense, they were rather dull. I think adding the filter to make them look "swirly" added much to their appeal.

Lucy -Love the electric colors and the fine textures/design as a result of what you did with Topaz.

Thank you for your efforts to create this image.

For me, I have a difficult time finding a place that my eyes can focus on. Plus, there's a lot of small distraction in the background, around the image. I'm not sure what the solid bluish item is in the bottom right corner?

Interesting transformation, ditto what Ram has said Lucy.
A most creative addition to the WC theme, well done! :toast:

Fantastic coolr and textures in this Lucy. I would like a bit more DOF in the lower left side perhaps.

Rick, the bluish spots are reflections of the sky in water pools on the leaves.

This looks like it should crawl away any minute. The added textures make is seem alive and the colors are very dramatic.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm so glad, that I "stuck it out" with this photo. Like I said, the reflections were merely of the rose color itself with no definition at all. Many times, artistic license backfires, but I'm glad it worked this time! I just wish the bottom of the petal had been in focus...couldn't do too much more with that without adding a lot of noise.
