Boat Watching

This image was shot today (June 14, 2014) at the Spokane MAC (Museum of Art & Culture) in celebration of Father's Day featuring: "Planes, Trains and Automobiles." In addition, the MAC flooded an outdoor pool to display wireless boats.

I specifically framed this shot from the back of three kids watching the boats. I prefer shooting odd numbers of "things" vs even numbers, which was available (This is, I could have included a 4th kids.)

Shot hand-held, kneeling, close to the ground with a Nikon D300 in manual mode, 18-200mm lens, f/11.

Thanks for viewing this image.

I think the image could have been a bit stronger if all three kids were actually "looking" at one of the boats that can be seen in the water, rather than just gazing off to the sides. Sort of defeats your title.
I'm sure you had no choice but to include the brightly colored banners, but they distract more than they support. If you shot a more images there, maybe there's another that might be better. The processing does look good.
