These are eyes of a locust shot while mating.
It was cloudy and raining. Managed to compose with background soil and few small plants.

My first thought was that it was admiring its own reflection and you have the reflection sharp. My second thought was, "Sure looks happy." I might tone down the highlights on the "face" just a bit. A very cute and interesting shot!

I like the whimsical, almost cartoonish look of the bug. Super detail and light on what looks to be his "happy face." Interesting and unusual comp with the pair down in the corner, but it works for me with the nice bg. :toast:

Definitely a fun shot, Swathiraj - the creature has almost a mournful look !! Very nicely focused on a lovely background.
