D800 28-200mm @ 120mm F6.7 1/180 sec ISO400 handheld

Taken in a rainstorm at 6 AM, had to hold camera over my head and aim blindly as I was obstructed by some very thorny bushes, in other words, no way I could get a sharp image of these two cute fawns, no matter how hard I tried, but I really wanted something to show for my efforts, so Topaz to the rescue. After playing around with it with Topaz Simplify, I sort of liked the results.

Bob - Absolutely pretty --> Cute Twins and the painting like effect is just about right without getting over cooked. Very tastefully done in my opinion.

Wonderfully handled Bob! I really like the end result, and agree with you - sometimes an image can be rescued or strengthened through some thoughtful processing. Pretty darn good for a blind shot :toast:

Hey Bob I use Topaz quite a bit also. Lately I am pulling away from it as I got to where every bird starting looking better as a painting. It is a great "rescue" go-to but you get limited on galleries to post them in. I have lots of these on my website as they do make great artwork for framing. Enjoyed these little guys! Flowers are nice touch. Nice work.
