Tenaya Creek, Yosemite Valley. Harley and I spent some time here admiring and photographing this set of chutes and cascades.

I like the energy and the mood most Preston. The strong diagonal in the comp and the more realistic processing for the water creates most of that I think.

I like the image very much as posted but would also love to see it as a black and white at some point.

Beautiful comp and exposure on the water, and I especially like the touch of green, moss covered rocks I would guess. All and all, this is very nice, should make a great print.

What a wonderful shot, Preston! I like your comp very much and just love the water motion in this. It has a wonderful flow around and over the rocks. Really well done!

I too enjoy tight views of moving water and this one works very well. Plus the title is great! The diagonal comp. and that slide of water are great. The upper left feels dark to me. I wonder what some dodging through a lights mask to brighten the water highlights would do.

I like the immediacy of this Preston. The colors are natural and totally beautiful. Essential Yosemite in a closeup. Well done. Chet

Very nice take on this little scene, Preston. Excellent choice of shutter speed, and the little upward curl of the falls is a bonus. Nice work.
