Here's another backyard macro image from this week (Tuesday) of a backlit spider sitting on a dewey daylilly leaf. Although hard to see at this size, my neighbor's house and yard are refracted in the large drop on the right under the leaf. Nikon D600, 150 macro. f29, iso 640, 1/100. Image cropped about 25% from original. Posted in this weeks's "backyard" WC, but I thought it belongs here as well. Comments, questions, and suggestions welcome.

Love the black BG and light that has lit the subject & drops so well Scott..
I especially like the translucent quality of the legs, and that lead drop with the view of your yard..
Very nice :toast: :toast:

Scott: Love the refractions in the drops, especially the big one. Great balance in the comp with the positions of the spider and the main drop. Really good stuff. >=))>

Scott, I like the subtle light on the spider. All the elements (spider, leaf, dew, refraction…) are nicely blended. Excellent image.
