Cute but Unwelcome

D800 18-200mm @ 200mm ISO 200 F6.7 1/750

While roaming around the residential streets of Port Townsend, WA, admiring the old Victorians and the hundreds of beautiful perennial beds in all the yards, I kept running into deer feeding in those same flower beds. I got this little guy playing shy not far from mom, in one of those beds To me, very cute, to the gardeners, probably not so much.

Hey Bob (of no fixed address!),

You forgot to add a full cute alert in your commentary!

I like how the fawn is peering out from behind those deep red leaves...definitely says "shy" to me! Not sure if you're into selectively editing your shots, but if you are I'd experimenting with reducing the exposure in the sunlit top of the frame (or perhaps at least crop some of that out - or both!).

Cheers...thanks for sharing this one!
