Came upon this scene while doing some Fall hiking in Guilford, CT a couple of years ago. I was attracted by the bright green color and the symmetry; wish I had left some more room at the top.
Canon Powershot SX30, 35mm, HH, flash, ISO 200, f/4.5, 1/60. Sharpened in PSE. Comments and suggestions always welcome and thanks for viewing.

The bright green rests in striking contrast to the browns of this leaf littered floor, nice find Jim.
I like this a lot, just wish you had a bit more room at the top too.
Well done :wavey:

Jim - The fresh and washed leaves provide a striking contrast to the leaves on the floor. Beautiful presentation.

Very nice contrast between the green fern leaves and the fallen deciduous leaves, Jim. Are you aware of the small spider in the LRC?

Great look at the two fern leaves, Jim. They really pop against the background of the fallen leaves.

Scott, thank you for your comment. I know there is a small insect on one of the ferns; think it was a cricket and remember deciding to leave him there at the time. Just can't detect any spider, though there appears to be traces of a spider's web in the lower right.
