Hey Sandy,

Have to say I really like this one - very cool almost "high key" look to it. This one has a strong graphic appeal that works well for me. While I find the pano thing (and a lot of the "crop to match the subject" stuff) quite overdone these days, this is one image where it works really well (and I think your cropping here and positioning of the subjects is also really well done - perhaps a slight sliver off the right - and added to the left - might be a little more pleasing to me, but the framing is really strong as presented). I'm not advocating converting this one to B&W (because I like it as is), but it probably would convert well to B&W if you wanted to play around a bit. And...definitely a shot where the larger version really shines. Really well done.

Cheers...

Brad

Very cool! The long format helps with this shot and have you thought of posting a black and white version of this photo?.......................Jim

Hi Sandy, as the others have already said - the pano works so very well with this. My 2-cents on the B&W idea would be to convert the BG but leave that touch of colour in the FG, as that adds quite a bit of appeal for me (whereas the brown, particularly in the ULC is less appealing). Overall though, I really like this one :toast:

This works very well in the pano style presentation here, Sandy. I really like the line up of the water guzzling "Z's".....

Great sense of "Etosha" here, and lovely high key effect with effective crop/presentation as mentioned, Sandy.
I too think this would make a smashing candidate for B&W conversion!
